ZRH GMS 026

The Zurich Games brings the ZRH GMS back to Halle 550 with a powerful mix of CrossFit (Teams of Four), Hybrid Racing (Teams of Two), and Calisthenics, plus the Swiss Strongman Championship Finals — all under one roof.

Categorie

  • ZRH GMS Team of Four (CrossFit) — Teams must include at least 1 male and 1 female. At least two members must be at Rx level, and at least two must be intermediate level. The competitions take place on Friday afternoon and all day on Saturday.
  • ZRH GMS Teams of Four Masters (CrossFit) — Teams must include at least 1 male and 1 female. At least two members must be at Rx level, and at least two must be intermediate level. All athletes must be 35 years old or older. The competitions take place on Friday afternoon and all day on Saturday.
  • ZRH GMS Teams of Two (Hybrid - Endurance & Power programmed by WOD Sience) — This Hybrid category is open to teams of two athletes — female/female, male/male, or mixed. Teams will face one long workout (aka mashup), combining alternating stamina and strength exercises in a continuous format. The first heats start on Friday afternoon. Additional heats take place on Saturday, and if there is a large demand, there may also be heats on Sunday.
  • Bardogs International Endurance Male Pro (Calisthenics) — High-intensity endurance competition where athletes race against the clock performing specific bodyweight and weighted exercises. The competition takes place all day on Saturday.
  • Bardogs International Endurance Male Open (Calisthenics) — High-intensity endurance competition where athletes race against the clock performing specific bodyweight and weighted exercises. The competition takes place all day on Saturday.
  • Bardogs International Endurance Female (Calisthenics) — Hgh-intensity endurance competition where athletes race against the clock performing specific bodyweight and weighted exercises. The competition takes place all day on Saturday.
  • Bardogs International Statics-Power League (Calisthenics) — Head-to-head statics and power moves calisthenics and street-workout battle tournament. The competition takes place all day on Sunday.

  • Calisthenics Starter Workshop — Egal, ob du gerade erst mit Calisthenics beginnst oder bereits erste Erfahrungen mitbringst – dieser Workshop bietet dir die passenden Grundlagen und neuen Impulse für dein Training. Du lernst die Grundlagen des Trainings, der richtigen Technik und der Trainingsplanung kennen. Dabei liegt der Fokus auf Übungen wie Klimmzügen, Liegestützen, Dips und Kniebeugen. Zusätzlich erhältst du Einblicke in fortgeschrittene Skills wie den Muscle-Up, Front Lever und Back Lever. Ziel des Workshops ist es, dir eine starke Grundlage zu vermitteln, auf der du deine athletische Entwicklung langfristig aufbauen kannst. Der Workshop findet hauptsächlich auf Deutsch statt. Falls jemand Englisch spricht oder eine Erklärung auf Englisch benötigt, kann der Trainer den Workshop selbstverständlich auch auf Englisch begleiten und Inhalte entsprechend erklären.
  • Technique and Precision: Olympic Weightlifting in Focus — Good technique is the foundation for more strength, more safety, and more enjoyment in weightlifting. In this workshop, we break down the Snatch and the Clean and Jerk—key positions, extension, the pull, and the catch—so you understand the movements as one smooth sequence, not isolated parts. Suitable for beginners as well as advanced athletes, you’ll leave with clear starting points you can implement right away in your training.
  • Handstand Starter Workshop — Whether you’re completely new to handstands or already feel confident on your hands, you’ll learn how to improve your technique, refine your alignment, and activate the right muscles to find your optimal balance. You’ll also get insights into different handstand variations, skills, and strength elements such as presses and handstand push-ups.
  • Peptide im Biohacking: Hype, Hoffnung, und Bro Science — Peptide gelten als die neuen Wundermittel der Selbstoptimierung: Sie sollen Regeneration, Muskelaufbau, Fettabbau und Hautqualität verbessern. Doch was steckt wirklich hinter dem Hype? Der Vortrag zeichnet anhand aktueller Beispiele den Weg vom Labor zum Arzneimittel nach, ordnet Aussagen nach wissenschaftlicher Evidenz und beleuchtet kritisch, wo Spekulation, Marketing und Wunschdenken beginnen. Dabei werden ausserdem Risiken aufgezeigt, denen Anwenderinnen und Anwender sich unbewusst aussetzen.
